We are seeking to appoint an inspirational Head of Sixth Form to join the Stuart Bathurst leadership team and our family of over 130 Key Stage 5 students on our onward journey in providing our students with the very best of life’s chances. We work hard to sustain the highest standards of teaching and learning and behaviour and attitudes and are always looking for ways to improve. • Is experienced at shaping high quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Is a confident in their handling of data and interventions.
• Has a proven track record as a Middle or Senior Leader.
• Can design and lead a comprehensive strategy for revision and study skills for teachers and learners of A Level
• and BTEC courses.
• Understands the challenges of the KS5 curriculum and can support senior and middle leaders in overcoming them.
• Can find new and creative ways of boosting Sixth Form recruitment efforts both internally and externally.
• Can work closely with colleagues to guide students in planning and applying for their next steps.
• Is fully committed to providing enrichment and extra-curricular opportunities for all students.
• Is well-rounded in their leadership skills and can raise the profile of the Sixth Form across the whole school.
• Builds excellent relationships with staff and students.
• Is highly organised and efficient.
• Is willing to commit to the Catholic ethos of the school.
