Smile Education are working with secondary schools across Staffordshire who are in need of Supply teachers to support throughout their daily timetable. As a Supply Teacher, you must carry out pre-planned lessons when teaching staff are absent. Whilst doing this, you must ensure that pupils are supported when needed, engaged in the classwork and good behaviour is maintained.

General cover is required, however if you are a supply teacher with subject specialism, the school can do their best to use your skills and knowledge within these lessons. This role is available to start as soon as, with opportunities available in September too! Whether you are available now, or from September , full time or part time, please do get in touch!

Requirements for this role :

• Teaching/ classroom experience
• Strong behaviour management skills
• QTS/ degree level of education
• The ability to keep pupils engaged throughout the lesson/day
• A full enhanced DBS is required or willing to pay for one to be processed through Smile Education.
