Are you a passionate History Supply Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity in a thriving secondary school? We are seeking a talented and dedicated History Supply Teacher to join a delightful, mixed-gender secondary school in Havering. This long-term role offers the chance to secure a permanent position based on your performance.

As a History Supply Teacher, you will be joining a dynamic department where you’ll deliver engaging and inspiring history lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality history lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Manage the classroom effectively and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Work collaboratively with the Humanities department to ensure excellent learning outcomes.
• Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their progress.
• Uphold the school’s strong values and contribute to the overall success of the students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching history in a secondary school setting (preferably Key Stage 3 and 4).
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for teaching history.
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence as a History Supply Teacher.
