Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant KS2 team, located in Maidstone, Kent. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children s learning and development in a dynamic primary school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to KS2 students.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help.
• Help prepare classroom materials and resources.
• Support students with special educational needs and adapt activities to ensure they can access the curriculum.
• Assist with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supervise students during break and lunchtimes as required.
• Participate in school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities.
• Provide feedback to teachers on students progress and any concerns.
• Support with administrative tasks such as maintaining records and documentation.

Qualification and Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.
• A passion for education and supporting children s learning.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet the varying needs of the school.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Basic knowledge of the KS2 curriculum is desirable.
