Protocol Education are currently looking to register outstanding, experienced Teaching Assistants with a strong background in supporting individuals diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Conditions for positions within mainstream Primary schools in Wakefield.
We are looking for enthusiastic, skilled individuals dedicated to making a real difference to young people lives, and who have good experience with autistic learners in order to support them return to education after an extended period of disruption.
Our ideal candidate should be flexible, adaptable, a good communicator, have a cheerful disposition and respond calmly under pressure.
Successful candidates will have a varied role, which involves supporting the teacher in all aspects to ensure that pupils receive the most effective support. You will be able to demonstrate a practical, hands on approach to supporting teaching and be prepared to go above and beyond.
Protocol Education adheres to the following from its Support Workers;
• A DBS certificate with a live subscription to the update service or be willing to get one.
• Two professional references within the last three years.
• Someone who is committed to the safeguarding of young people.
