1-1 SEN Teaching Assistant – Leek Full Time

ABC Teachers are seeking a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a primary school within the Leek area starting as soon as possible.

The role itself:

You will be working 1:1 with a specific pupil, assisting in classrooms and providing interventions for a specific pupil while de-escalating stressful situations to help the teacher conduct lessons successfully. Along with providing specific SEN Support to a strong level.

You must have:

Strong adaptability

A strong passion for learning and showing creativity.

The qualification and experience to look after ranges for SEN and SEMH support.

Patience, Resilience and Reliability

Strong interpersonal skills to cater to the specific needs of the pupil.

Be able to provide 2 solid references covering years experience.

Hold a DBS registered on the update service or must be able to arrange one.

Have previous experience working within education or a similar environment.
