Vision for Education is looking to appoint a 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant to join our join our successful supply agency team and work in a school in the Newcastle local authority.
About the role
Working as part of an energetic and creative team, the successful 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant will focus on delivering support to children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) in a Secondary School. This position will be on a supply basis between Monday to Friday. Part time and full time positions are available and can can be long term, short term or day to day.The successful candidate will ideally have Team Teach Training however this is not essential. If applicants are successful there is an opportunity for you to attend the Team Teach training course that Vision for Education provides.

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Behaviour Support Assistant you will:
Have experience supporting young people in small groupsHave experience working with young people who have a diagnosis of SEMHBe patient and have a caring nature.Previous experience of working 1:1 with young people who have complex needs
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
Relevant experience in the past few years working with children, young people or vulnerable adults
