1:1 Teaching Assistant Full Time

Vision for Education are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, dedicated and resilient 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant to work at a Primary School in South Leeds immediately Jan 2024

The role

As a 1 to 1 Learning Support Assistant at this school, you will be required to work with a pupil in KS2 that has Autism and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities in this role will be; to manage behaviour, assist the class teacher in delivering lessons, liaising with the SENCo and keeping parents and multi-disciplinary teams up to date with progress or issues.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, you will:

• Have experience working with pupils with Autism
• Have already completed, or be willing to complete a 12 hour Team Teach course
• Have a DBS on the update service, or be willing to undergo a DBS check
• Have relevant experience that we would be able to reference within the last 5 years
