1:1 Teaching Assistant – full-time, temporary

£375 – £425 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications )

Are you an experienced SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant looking to work in the Boston area, supporting a primary aged child on a 1:1 basis with challenging needs in a primary setting. This is an ongoing full-time position starting in January 2024. This role is to start in January 2024 and be an ongoing position until at least Easter 2024, full-time working Monday to Friday 8:30am until 3:30pm. Supporting a year 3/YR3 child on a 1:1 basis with challenging needs, so SEND experience would be required for this role.

This position could become long-term and permanent, depending on the needs of the school and specific child who is being supported, in addition to being the right fit for the 1:1 Teaching Assistant.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

• Hold a level 2 or above qualification in supporting children
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Have previous experience of working with children or young people; ideally within a school, nursery, childcare, youth work, play or care setting within the last 2 years
• We must be able to obtain valid references from these roles
• Hold, or be prepared to undergo an Enhanced DBS, registered to the Update Service
