Accelerate Teaching, a leading educational agency in Leeds, is excited to announce a fantastic opportunity to join a primary school in Leeds as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a child in Reception with ADHD and Autism. This fulfilling role commences in January 2024 and runs until July 2024. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with a child in Reception who has ADHD and Autism.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing tailored support to the child, ensuring they have the best possible educational experience.
• Creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters the child’s social and academic growth.
• Collaborating with the school’s SENCO and teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
• Offering one-to-one assistance in various subjects and helping the child overcome challenges associated with ADHD and Autism.
• Monitoring and recording the child’s progress and liaising with parents and carers to keep them informed of developments.
