1:1 Tutors and intervention Teachers are needed to deliver core subject teaching from KS2 GCSE.
In the current climate, there are 1.6 million children in the UK who are vulnerable or have SEND whom have no form of education to meet their needs.
We require experienced educators to teach young people, particularly those with SEND in Hillingdon & Berkshire. This tuition primarily covers the core subjects (English, Maths, and Science), from KS2 through to GCSE.
Experience working with young people in care, children in need and/or those with SEND is highly desirable.
The needs of the young person will dictate where tutoring should be carried out. Tuition will normally take place in the home of the young person, on site of an Alternative Provision or Special School OR in some cases, remotely.
Essential requirements to be successful in the role are:
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Knowledge of the National & Special Curriculum
• Substantial experience of working with pupils with SEND, with SEMH needs and/or Autistic Spectrum Condition.
• Awareness of child protection issues and commitment to safe practice
Have you taught 1:1, tutored or carried out intervention work? Are you confident in delivering Maths and English to GCSE Level? Have you worked with Special Needs?
