Job Title: Academy Teacher (English) Employer: Brighton & Hove Albion Location: The American Express Elite Football Performance Centre, Lancing Salary: Salary dependant on skills & experience Hours: 30 hours per week, 4 days a week, working 35 weeks per year Salary: £22,353.75 (based on working 35 weeks out of 52 weeks) Job Type: Fixed Term until 31 May 2023 Deadline Day: 7th February 2023 About us We are a family run local community club who compete at the highest levels of football on a global stage. What does the role of an Academy Teacher involve? You will be joining an ambitious team who are dedicated to adding value and making a difference to the education and lives of our students. You will support the teaching and learning of the schoolboy day release programme using a variety of teaching and learning styles. You will be responsible for maintaining links with our education partners and other associated links and stakeholders. Your teaching bio Its is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) alongside main-stream KS3 and GCSE teaching experience in English. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of the Gifted and Talented program and its implications for Football Academies. This position is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
