Design Technology Technician – Worthing

At Engage Education Services, we are currently recruiting for a DT Technician to work on a part-time basis in Worthing, Working as part of our technician’s team you will be supporting the Design department. The ideal applicant will have access to a vehicle as the school is not directly on public transport routes.

About the role

The successful candidate will assist teachers and students in the smooth running, demonstration and organisation of practical activities across the department, as well as monitoring the implementation of the department’s Health and Safety policy.

DT Technician responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for teaching staff in Design

• Preparing materials and resources in advance of lessons

• Support fellow technicians within the department, especially new members of staff

• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

About you

• Experience working in a school environment as a DT Technician preferred but not essential

• A relevant undergraduate degree

• A passion for working in a school environment
