Prospero Teaching are looking for a creative and vibrant Art Teacher to join an ‘outstanding’ secondary school in Castleford on a part-time basis this September until the end of the academic year.

This position is also open to NQTs and ECTs who are looking to gain more experience in the classroom.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

• Location – Wakefield
• Position – Art Teacher
• Start Date – September 2024
• End Date – July 2025
• Contract Type: Part time – Long term/ Permanent
• Hours – 08:00 – 16:00

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience working in a UK secondary school.
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential).
• GCSE English and Maths grade ‘C’ or ‘4’ & above.

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references
