HSDC wish to appoint an experienced and talented Lecturer in Automotive Studies.

The ideal candidates will have a great track record of achievement across a range of learning groups, will be enthusiastic, committed and professional. Havant and South Downs College has an excellent track record in automotive studies and the successful applicants will become part of a dedicated, dynamic and learner-focused team.

You will work with engaging professionals in a well-resourced college and enjoy excellent conditions of employment. Current courses include Entry, Levels 1, 2 & 3, Apprenticeships with full and part-time provision.

Applicants will have an existing recognised teaching qualification and a minimum of three years industrial experience in the motor vehicle industry. A working knowledge of apprenticeships would be desirable as would an assessor qualification (A1, D32/33 or equivalent). The craft of embedding functional skills in learning is a prerequisite and adding value to learners with a career focus will be your motivation.
