A “Good” (OfSTED 2016) secondary school for students with hearing, speech and language and communication needs with a residential provision is seeking full time Teaching Assistants to join their team ASAP!

This school follows a student-centred multi-modal approach to communication. They would like to welcome you to become part of their vibrant and innovative learning community, to have the opportunity to work in our happy and harmonious school which promotes the highest standards and is at the forefront of special education. They are an inclusive school where every student and member of staff is valued highly.

This school is looking for a full-time TA who is willing to commit to the whole school ethos and contribute to the whole school community. This includes school trips and after school clubs.
There is an opportunity to work within the residential unit if desired.

Applicants must have excellent sign language skills (minimum qualification BSL Level 2) and experience of working with deaf and/or language impaired children.
Applications particularly welcome from applicants with experience of working with students with ASD, multi-sensory impairment, behaviour support needs.
