TeacherActive are proud to be working with an esteemed children s residential home provider to source permanent staffing for their Moseley EBD homes. Consistency is key with young people, you can have a major impact on children s lives.

Shifts are as follows:

Long day – 8:30 – 11pm

Sleeps – until 8:30 the following day

160h/month minimum (Overtime rate at anything over 190)

For the Children s Residential Support Worker role we require:

• Minimum 3 months working with children/young adults in the education or care sector (desirable)
• Level 3 NVQ in children’s residential care / Level 3 NVQ in health and social care or equivalent (desirable)
• A full UK driving licence (essential)

The Residential Home can accommodate children up to 18 years of age. Due to the nature of this post the Department for Education National Minimum Standards state that the support workers must be 4 years older than the oldest resident. Therefore, applicants must be 22 years of age or older.
