Job Description
Salary: £32,076 – £33,945 pro rata
Hours per week: 15 hours
Temporary/Fixed term: until March 2025

We are looking for a Community Tutor to provide invaluable support to Afghan adults in Wiltshire, facilitating language assistance as they learn English as a second language (ESOL).
As a Tutor, you will plan and deliver courses ensuring that the learners learn and progress, whatever their starting point. You will follow schemes of work and lesson plans in accordance with best practice to be more accessible for the Afghan learners.
We require candidates to possess a Level 4 NVQ qualification and be a qualified teacher with QTS or working towards it, coupled with a solid understanding of the language development processes for individuals learning ESOL. Exceptional communication skills are essential. You will have good level 2 or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths.
