Tradewind Recruitment are partnering with an Outstanding’ school based in the heart of Lewisham who require a teacher of Computer Science to join their supportive and dedicated team across KS3 & KS4. As well as fully qualified teachers, the school are keen to hear from ECTs or unqualified overseas teachers with a high level of experience teaching Computer Science to secondary age students.
The position on offer could be either full-time or part-time, based on preference, so applications are warmly welcomed from all interested Computer Science Teachers looking for a full-time role from next term.
The school is highly traditional in its approach to student behaviour and attitudes. Students are expected to wear their distinctive uniform in a conventional manner, i.e. with collars buttoned, shirts tucked in, etc. While all members of the school community are expected to behave respectfully to one another, there is an explicit expectation that students will respect their elders, maintaining a wholly courteous manner towards teaching and support staff, adult visitors and members of the general public. What we are looking for:
An outstanding Computer Science Teacher who has excellent subject knowledge, and able to teach at KS3 & KS4
An individual who is able to plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to high achieving students, always aiming to exceed their expectations
This role is to start in in January 2022 and to work on a long-term contract until July 2022 with a view to a permanent contract.

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
