Your Role as a Cover Supervisor:

• Lead classes in the absence of teachers, ensuring students engage in pre-planned activities.
• Foster a positive and safe learning atmosphere through effective behavior management.
• Collaborate with fellow staff to coordinate work and ensure access to necessary resources.
• Provide valuable feedback to teachers on attendance, engagement, and completed tasks.

Qualifications We Value:

• NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher, or a Graduate aspiring for a career in education.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (training available).
• Willingness to undergo additional training for continuous professional development.
• Strong empathy, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Initiative and flexibility to adapt to diverse situations.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo the process.
• A comprehensive and checkable work history.
