Are you passionate about education and looking for an exciting opportunity in Greenwich? We are seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join our team at Engage Education. As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining a positive learning environment and supporting students’ academic progress in the absence of regular teachers.

Position: Cover Supervisor

Location: Greenwich

Salary: £100 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

Contract Type: Temporary/Full-time

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage classrooms during teacher absences
• Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students’ engagement in learning activities
• Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Support students’ behavior management in accordance with the school’s policies
• Provide assistance to students with their individual learning needs, as directed by teaching staff
• Manage classroom resources and equipment effectively

Requirements:

• Relevant experience working with children or young adults, preferably within an educational setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and implement pre-prepared lesson plans
• Strong classroom management skills
• Patience, flexibility, and adaptability
• Minimum of a high school diploma (additional qualifications are advantageous)
