We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to join our secondary school in Gateshead. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that they continue to learn and make progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising students in the absence of their regular teacher, ensuring that they are engaged in learning and following the lesson plan provided.
• Managing classroom behavior and maintaining a safe and productive learning environment.
• Assisting with the preparation of lesson materials and resources.
• Providing feedback to the regular teacher about the progress of the students.

Requirements:

• A degree in any subject or equivalent qualification.
• Experience working with secondary school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
