We are looking for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join the team, playing a key role in ensuring students’ learning continues smoothly in the absence of their regular teachers.

Job Summary:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will oversee classes across different subjects and year groups, ensuring students remain on task and complete the work set by their teachers. This position is perfect for individuals passionate about education, looking for hands-on experience in a school environment, and eager to make a meaningful impact on students’ academic progress.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage students in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring they follow lesson plans and complete assigned work.
• Maintain an orderly, focused learning environment, addressing any behavioral issues in accordance with the school’s behavior policy.
• Assist students by answering their questions, clarifying instructions, and offering guidance to help them complete their tasks effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience working in a school or with young people is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage a classroom and engage with students, staff, and parents.
• A positive, flexible attitude, with the ability to adapt to different situations and handle challenges calmly and efficiently.
