Graduate Cover Supervisor required – Bury – April 2021

£70 – £80 per day

This exciting graduate Cover Supervisor position is to start in April 2021 and is the perfect opportunity to join a dynamic secondary school in the Bury area. This role is the perfect fit for a university graduate to earn money while gaining the experience they need to go on to qualify as a teacher.

Are you passionate about working with young people? Are you a conscientious graduate keen to gain the skills required to complete a PGCE in the future?

This graduate cover supervisor role consists of liaising with the school cover manager on a daily basis in order to cover lessons for absent teachers across the curriculum. You will cover a range of different subjects at KS3 and KS4 and be required to explain pre-set tasks to students and support them (where possible) as they complete them. You will need to apply school policies consistently and build positive relationships with both colleagues and students.

To be considered for the Cover Supervisor role you should:

Hold a degree

Have the ability to quickly build positive relationships with both staff and students

Be organised and out-going with good communication skills

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – if you do not have a DBS registered online PK Education will provide full assistance in getting you one.
