RECRUITMENTiQ is working in partnership with a school in Tilehurst, Reading who are seeking to recruit a full time Curriculum Teaching Assistant.Curriculum Teaching AssistantGrade B, SP1, £17,864 pa, pro-rata • approximately £10,681 pa26.25 hours per week • Term time only, plus one Inset dayRequired to start in September 2022They are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and efficient Curriculum Teaching Assistant to work within their vibrant and dedicated Inclusion department.The Inclusion department offers support to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) at Little Heath School, as well as students with other social and emotional and learning needs. The department also helps those pupils for whom engagement with learning is a barrier. Enthusiasm, patience and a willingness to work with pupils of all ages is necessary.The successful candidate will support the young people in the classroom setting and as well as be part of the intervention team delivering specifics pieces of work. They currently deliver a range of curriculum packages to cohorts of children who need bespoke and differentiated learning so as to be successful.The person/s we are seeking will:
The school is a highly successful comprehensive school (1,610 on roll, including 320 in the Sixth Form) situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting to the west of Reading, with good access to road and rail links.
