DT Teacher, DT Teaching job, Shrewsbury, £160-£250 MPS, January start We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Design and Technology Teacher to join our dynamic team on a temporary, long-term supply basis. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in Shrewsbury, fostering their creativity and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Design and Technology.
  • Develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Maintain a safe and stimulating learning environment.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the curriculum and participate in departmental meetings and training sessions.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in teaching Design and Technology at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
