This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible and ongoing.
The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Design and Technology department by preparing and maintaining equipment, materials, and resources for practical lessons. They will also provide technical support and assistance to teachers and students during lessons, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience in a similar role within a school or workshop environment
Knowledge and understanding of a range of Design and Technology equipment, machinery and materials.
The ability to work independently and as part of a team, and to manage time and resources effectively.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
A commitment to health and safety regulations and the safeguarding of students
Relevant qualifications, such as a DT or Engineering degree or a relevant vocational qualification
