Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Specialist Assessor to carry out diagnostic assessments and / or screenings for young people and adults to identify dyslexia and / or co-occurring specific learning difficulties and exam concessions (SpLDs) and undertake exam concessions. Experience (or interest) in assessing remotely via video conferencing platforms.
They should have a recognised level 7 qualification or equivalent in dyslexia and a current Assessment Practising Certificate (APC). Be responsible for their own CPD, including keeping up to date with and adhering to current guidance on assessing and reporting standards.
Administer a wide range of diagnostic and attainment tests. Calculate and interpret test scores accurately. Write comprehensive and accurate reports with sensitivity and make appropriate and meaningful recommendations, within agreed timescales.
