Tradewind Recruitment is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school in the Romiley area of Stockport.

Position: EYFS Teaching Assistant
Location: Romiley, Stockport
Pay Rate: 85 per day

Role and Responsibilities:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences for children in their early years. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the planning and delivery of activities that support children’s development in line with the EYFS framework.
• Providing one-on-one and small group support to children, helping them to achieve their learning goals.
• Supporting children’s social and emotional development, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
• Observing and assessing children’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Assisting with classroom management, preparing learning materials, and maintaining a tidy and stimulating learning environment.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting the school’s values and ethos.
• Collaborating with colleagues and participating in team meetings to discuss and plan for the needs of the children.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient and caring nature.
• Previous experience in an EYFS setting is desirable but not essential.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.
