Inscape House School is a specialist school for children with autism and related conditions, based on the Together Trust Campus in Cheadle. The school has a broad and balanced curriculum incorporating the National Curriculum with an emphasis on the development of social, communication and personal skills as set out in the Inscape House School Teaching and Learning Policy.
Working pattern – 34.5 hours per week worked over 39 weeks per year with a pro-rated holiday entitlement added to salary. Holiday entitlement pro-rated from 27 holidays and 8 Bank Holidays. Holidays also increased with additional years of service. This is a Term Time only position.
Daily working pattern – 8:30am to 3:30pm Monday, Thursday, Friday and 8:30am to 4:30pm Tuesday and Wednesday
Salary – £16,969.65 per year. The salary displayed is the actual salary for the weeks and hours worked each year. The hourly rate is £10.91 per hour which is the real living wage. Salary increased in biennial increments rising to £18,756.19 per year.

We are looking to recruit more than one individual and part time working could be considered.
As an Educational Assistant you will support the learning and care of pupils across the school, under supervision and guidance of teachers and therapists. Safeguarding children and vulnerable people is a priority for all employees. You will work with teachers and therapists in assisting the delivery of the curriculum and in the care of the pupils. In addition, you will be required to participate in other activities within the school including supervision of play and lunchtimes.
