English Graduate Intervention Teaching Assistant – Leeds

On behalf of my secondary school partner based in Leeds, I am currently looking to recruit an English specialist graduate teaching assistant on a full-time basis Monday to Friday. This role will be delivering one to one and small group interventions to pupils that need extra support in boosting their grades and getting back on track. This is a great role for aspiring teachers who are wanting to build up their classroom experience and learn from forward thinking teachers.

Requirements

• English related degree
• Confidence to lead small groups
• Be able to deliver interventions and one to one support
• Genuine passion for the subject
• Ideally have experience working with secondary aged pupils although not essential
• Enhanced DBS certificate – this can be applied for through Veritas

The school in question is forward thinking brand new school with great facilities throughout. With it being around 10 minutes from the city centre, there are plenty of public transport routes for those that don’t drive. With this school being part of a multi academy trust as well, there is options to complete teachers training in the future.
