English Teacher Milk Education are working with a specialist Secondary school for students who cannot access a mainstream setting. You will be expected to teach students across all classes, supporting students from 11-19 years. All classes have multiple support staff, and as a forward thinking teacher you will be expected to create and adapt lessons to all students needs and preferred learning techniques. To apply for this role you must: QTS with specialism in English Understanding of Autism, SEMH and behaviours that challenge Available full time Key Responsibilities: Teaching all areas of the KS2 Phase – KS4 Curriculum Taking responsibility for the progress of a class of secondary-age pupils Organising the classroom and learning resources and creating displays to encourage a positive learning environment Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class, you will share planning with the other Teachers and work collaboratively Motivating pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation Confident in SEN, SEMH and De-escalation Required Skills & Experience: SEN/SEMH Experience Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Good organisational and time-management skills. Energy, enthusiasm, patience, dedication, resilience, and self-discipline.
