An opportunity has arisen for an experienced English Teacher in Birmingham.

Can you inspire young minds with an engaging teaching style? Are you a committed and passionate English teacher? Do you have experience working with student with SEND?

A secondary school for students with Moderate Learning Difficulties and autism in Birmingham is seeking to appoint an English and PSHE Teacher. The post is initially on a week by week basis, with the potential of leading to a longer term contract for the right Teacher. The Head Teacher is looking for someone with a positive attitude to teaching, an enthusiastic and dynamic approach and has high expectations of learning.

Experience teaching students with SEND is essential. You must be able to plan and deliver creative lessons which appeal to students of various needs.

In return, the English and PSHE Teacher will have the opportunity to work with a fantastic team in a welcoming environment.

Newly Qualified Teachers are also encouraged to apply.

Applicants need to have:

QTS with an English specialism
Experience teaching English up to KS4 / Key Stage 4
Good classroom management
A real desire to make a positive difference to the pupils that you work with
