EYFS Specialist SENCO – Hackney – PT (3 days per week)

Active SEN are seeking an EYFS specialist SENCO to work in a special needs school based in Hackney. This role is part time, 3 days per week and is flexible.

The role is like an advisory teacher role, working in the nursery department of the school supporting the learning and curriculum areas within the classroom, e.g. being able to break down read or numeracy skills to small steps – identifying issues and supporting them.

The role would have no class teaching involved. What the school are mainly looking for is someone with good EYFS and SEN experience who has a good understanding of the curriculum – they are working at P-levels as well as early national curriculum levels.

Requirements:

* NA SENCO qualification AND/OR strong EYFS and SEN experience

* Clear DBS

* Right to work in the UK
