The Role

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in nurturing and supporting the youngest learners. You will assist the classroom teacher in creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment, fostering children’s development through play-based learning and structured activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the EYFS teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons.
• Provide one-on-one and small group support to children.
• Help create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to the teacher.
• Support children with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt learning materials as needed.
• Assist with classroom management and organization.

Requirements

• Experience working with early years children.
• A passion for early childhood education and helping children thrive.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
