Design Technology Technician required in Slough

At Engage Education, we are currently recruiting for a Food Technician to work on a full time basis starting immediately in Slough, working as part of the technician’s team you will be supporting the Tech styles and Food Technology department. You will join a strong team of inspirational Teachers and Support Staff in an exciting environment where learning is fun and engaging. If you are an imaginative and dynamic practitioner – with the capability of engaging and enthusing all students and the belief that everyone can succeed – we want to hear from you. The ideal applicant will have access to a vehicle as the school is not directly on public transport routes.

About the role

Food Technician responsibilities include:

• Providing technical support for teaching staff in Design
• Preparing materials and resources in advance of lessons
• Support fellow technicians within the department, especially new members of staff
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills

About you

• Experience working in a school environment as a Food Technician preferred but not essential
• A relevant undergraduate degree
• A passion for working in a school environment
