Forest School Nursery Manager

Are you passionate about forest schools and outdoor education? We are helping a client of ours based in the Dulwich area to recruit for an ambitious, motivated and experienced Nursery Manager with Forest school experince who can help us develop their Forest School.

Role:

As a Forest School Nursery Manager your role will be:

* Lead and support a team of experienced and accomplished teachers

* Manage the day to day operation of the setting

* Ensure an engaging, fun and supportive environment

* Follow the children’s interests and guide their education

* Continue to work with and develop the environment as the seasons change

* To plan, prepare and deliver a range of Forest School/Outdoor Education sessions

* To regularly check and maintain tools and other equipment

* Risk assess the site, tools and activities

The right candidate will have:

* Forest School Leader Level 3 qualification

* Level 3 and above Childcare Managers will be considered

* 2 years management experience

* The ability to deliver high quality practice

* Strong knowledge of the EYFS and safeguarding procedures

* A love of nature and the outdoors

* Great communication skills

Schedule:

* Day shift
