Full Time Level 3 Teaching Assistant – 1:1 – Preston Full Time

LTA / Reed Education are seeking a Level 3 1:1 Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted ‘Good‘ Primary School in the Preston area. This new role is a temporary position , starting in September 2022 for the duration of the academic year. The role is covering full time hours and is covering 5 days a week from 08:30am to 15:30pm. This is a friendly and caring school where children work hard and behave well so that they may achieve academic and personal excellence.

Experience with working in an early year setting and supporting pupils with challenging behaviour is preferred.

In this role the candidate will be providing 1:1 support to a pupil in Reception class with challenging behaviour.

The candidate must have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).

Within this role, your main responsibilities will be:•Monitoring targets for future progress•Establishing and developing strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and carers•Have a clear understanding of all the needs of all pupils•Monitoring pupils progress in reference with the school’s practice•Excellent behaviour management skills
