GCSE English Intervention Teacher

At Engage, we’re excited to be hiring English Specialist Intervention Teacher who is able

to deliver targeted Intervention to English GCSE students at a secondary school located

in Barnet

We are looking for an experienced Teacher who has extensive experience with GCSE

English and who has a proven track record or raising attainment in previous years. We

are looking for a English expert who has sound working knowledge of the English

GCSE curriculum

The role will be to support a number of groups across Year 11 to identify gaps in

knowledge and deliver 60-minute booster sessions with the set groups each week. You

will be working closely with SLT and and providing feedback and tracking pupil progress

each week in the lead up to the GCSEs.

This role is full-time working 5-6 hours per day (Monday – Friday)

The ideal candidate:

? A fully qualified teacher – minimum of 5 years of teaching experience GCSE

English

? Experience teaching and providing Interventions GCSE English

? Availability to start work within the next 2-4 weeks

? Previous track record of raising attainment in English
