The school follows a varied curriculum to suit the needs of the young people, with a consistent emphasis on developing social, emotional, and personal skills. The school is looking to take on a permanent General Cover SEMH Teacher from September on a full-time basis. The successful SEMH Teacher will be working directly with students across all Key Stages, whose ages range from 5 19 years. Most of the young people have been diagnosed with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and some may have additional conditions such as ASD, ADHD, or other learning difficulties.

The successful SEMH Teacher will have:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
• A proven track record of building strong relationships and managing challenging behavior
• Experience supporting children through therapeutic practices
