General Cover Teacher

GSL Education are actively seeking a Cover Teacher to support the learning of students in our client schools based in Ashington who can cover a range of subjects. This is a great opportunity for early career teachers looking to gain more experience, or for experienced teachers looking for a more flexible work-life balance.

To be successful, you must:

• Have worked in a classroom in the last two years and be able to provide relevant references. PGCE placements will be accepted.
• Have UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Be able to rapidly engage students and establish a rapport with students and staff alike.
• Be a confident behaviour manager.
• Lead by example as an enthused and highly motivated educator.
• Have an enhanced DBS certificate for Enhanced Child Workforce registered with the update service. Alternatively, you can apply for one through GSL Education.
• NQTs, Overseas Trained Teachers with the right to work in the UK as well as Instructors with relevant experience are also welcomed to apply.
• A fully checkable work history.
