Graduate 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Full-time, long term position starting as soon as possible
Earn up to £375 per week as a Graduate 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Provide support to a Year 2 child with social and emotional difficulties
Located near Birkenhead – great transport links from the Wirral and Liverpool
Role is until the end of the academic year with a view to extending this for next year
Must have a minimum 2:1 degree in core subjects or a Psychology related field
Experience working 1:1 with children is desirable
Trial day required to see if you and the child develop a good relationship

As a Graduate 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will be required to work together with the SENDCo and other teachers, to provide support to a student during the school day. Your responsibilities will include supporting and encouraging the student with their work as well as facilitating inclusion throughout the day. It is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience helping a year 2 boy who has recently returned to school from a long lay off and will appreciate the support he is given.
