Teaching Assistant vacancy Secondary school role Haringey location £75 – £95 per day PAYE and umbrella options A high achieving Haringey based secondary school are looking for a graduate with an interest in teaching to join the school to work as a graduate teaching assistant. The teaching assistant role is an ideal way for aspiring teachers to gain invaluable school based experience. A number of aspiring teachers spend the academic year working as a teaching assistant before commencing teacher training The school based in Haringey are looking for a graduate TA to work closely with student of all abilities with a focus on supporting students with special educational needs. You will be working with various pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis gaining varied experience. You will also be working closely with experienced teachers giving you the opportunity to observe different teaching styles and techniques. The school are eager to hear from individuals who have a recent Degree and some form of paid or relevant experience with young people. You may have gained this experience a number of ways such as tutoring, voluntary work, overseas teaching, youth work, sports coaching This graduate teaching assistant role is full time Monday – Friday and the school are looking to hold trial days ASAP.
