Secondary School Teaching Assistant

Location: Harrow

Job Type: ASAP full time

Salary: £90 – £100 per day (dependent on experience)

Job Description: As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting teachers and students in their learning journey. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers in planning and delivering lessons.
• Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help.
• Encouraging student engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Assisting with classroom management and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Supervising students during break times and extracurricular activities.
• Assisting with the preparation of teaching materials and resources.
• Supporting students with special educational needs or disabilities.
• Providing feedback to teachers on student progress and behavior.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for education and working with young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic school environment.
• Prior experience working with secondary school students is desirable.
