Contract Type: Temporary (Until the end of the academic year) with the possibility of a permanent role

Are you a dynamic and passionate drama professional looking to lead and inspire the next generation of performers? An outstanding opportunity awaits you at our esteemed girls secondary school in Haringey as we seek a talented and dedicated individual to join us as our Head of Drama.

Head of DramaResponsibilities:

Head of Drama: Lead, manage, and inspire the drama department with creativity and innovation.
Curriculum Development: Design and implement a dynamic and engaging drama curriculum.
Team Leadership: Foster a collaborative and supportive environment for drama faculty.
Student Engagement: Encourage and nurture a passion for drama among students.
Production Oversight: Organize and oversee school productions and performances.
Community Engagement: Develop partnerships and initiatives to enrich the drama program.
Teaching Key Stage 3-4

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant drama education experience.
Proven track record of successful leadership within a drama department.
Passionate about fostering creativity and a love for drama in students.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and managerial abilities.
