The successful new Head of Humanites will be a dynamic proven Teacher who seeks greater responsibility or an existing career-minded Head of Humanites ready for a new environment who has worked in a leadership capacity before. My client Headteacher wants to recruit a Senior Leader with the classroom practice that will form the grounding of their respect as a leader.

As a Head of Humanites your role will involve you playing a crucial part in the future success of the whole school. Your leadership duties will involve working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to build and implement planned structures to continue the success of the school. You will be leading the successful Humanities Department that has seen an impressive rise in A -C (9-1) grades over the past 3 years, particularly at KS5. It will be your main role to identify the needs for improvement within the staff team and ensure teachers are given all the training and development required to ensure they’re delivering Outstanding lessons.

This large and Newham area with good transport links and a large staff car park. After a period of transition, the fresh leadership and cohesive staff team have turned the school from RI to ‘Good’.
