You will be working with children and young people with various educational and emotional needs who will have experienced childhood trauma. Your role will be to inspire and motivate them to make excellent progress.

About the Role
The Headteacher is responsible for the effective day to day management of our small school.
Specifically, your responsibilities will be:

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate vision and can evidence the capacity to deliver high support and challenge.
You’ll be an experienced leader and motivator of staff. You will have a wealth of experience, ideally in a SEND/SEMH setting.
You need to demonstrate understanding of the inspection framework and requirements. Have a thorough understanding of the Independent School Standards, helping the school continue to develop, and build on its Good Ofsted rating.
Ability to motivate and support the team. A real ‘can do’ attitude with the desire to succeed and improve the school.
We are looking for someone who shares our vision and values and who can provide a safe and nurturing school for our young people. You will be calm, engaging, resilient, and able to use your own initiative.
We need someone who can be a role model, work well within a team, has great communication skills, is willing to go the extra mile and be prepared for the varying difficulties the role may present.
You will need to hold Qualified Teacher status and have experience of working as a SENCO or Deputy Head.
