I have an exciting opportunity for a Headteacher to lead a specialist school on its continuing journey to enable their young people to be the best they can be. This school caters for young people aged 11 to 16 years with social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school currently has approximately 25 pupils, with the capacity to grow to 38 by the end of the academic year.

They are looking for a motivated, highly committed, and experienced Headteacher who is passionate about education and young people.

Remit
Have successful senior leadership experience in an independent special school.
Lead by example – with integrity, creativity, resilience, and clarity.
Sustain wide, current knowledge and understanding of education and pursue continuous professional development.
Create an outward-facing school which works with other schools within the group to champion best practice and secure excellent achievements for all pupils.

Candidate Requirements
Experience in the field of Education.
Learning and skills with pupils who present challenges.
Knowledge of the requirements of the independent special education sector.

Location
This role is based in Tipton, commutable from Cannock, Birmingham, Telford, Wolverhampton, Stafford, Derby, Stoke on Trent, Nuneaton, Coventry and Shrewsbury.
