Are you an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant seeking an engaging and impactful role in education? An exciting opportunity has opened up in Haringey for talented individuals to join a Specialist Education Team as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant.

As a member of this team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting a mainstream primary school, aiding in the provision of high-quality education and support for students with special educational needs and disabilities. Collaborating with your assigned Lead Teacher, you will manage a caseload of schools, working closely with school staff to establish effective support programs, model best practices, and deliver comprehensive training sessions.

Responsibilities:

• Flexibly work across different age ranges to address the diverse needs of the students
• Deliver targeted interventions and foster the social and academic development of students
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure optimal outcomes for students.

Requirements:

• Level 4 or higher teaching assistant qualification
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Passion for supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
