Are you a level 4 teaching assistant or hold a HLTA qualification? Are you available for work after the Easter break? Are you passionate about raising attainment in literacy and numeracy? Do you have recent experience working as a HLTA in Key Stage 2 classes in a UK primary school?
Celsian Education are working alongside a primary school in Oldham to appoint a full time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to work across all year groups in the key stage 2 department from after the Easter break until July.
The ideal candidate will either hold HLTA status, or, have a level 4 teaching assistant qualification or could perhaps be a Newly Qualified Teacher who is hoping to gain more experience in a school, prior to starting their NQT year in September. It is essential that you have recent experience of working in key stage 2 classes in a UK school. You must be flexible, reliable and passionate as you will be expected to move across each class within the key stage 2 department.
The School have specifically asked for someone with strong communication skills as well as having previous experience of covering PPA time, sickness and courses.
All candidates will be required to provide sufficient references to cover the last 2 years, at least 1 of which must be from a school. You will also be required to hold an enhanced DBS that is in the update service or be willing to obtain a new one.
